ABP Apprentices

Martin Gough, Dockmaster for the Humber Ports, told us, "ABP commissioned AFS to write and deliver a basic marine knowledge course to the apprentices on our new Port Marine Operations apprenticeship scheme. These apprentices were new to the industry and it was essential that they got a good grasp of the basic industry knowledge very quickly. We felt the best way of doing this was to engage the services of a team of Marine professionals with years of practical experience on the job which is why we engaged AFS. Both the apprentices and some of our existing staff, who we also put on the course, found it to be a comprehensive course which was very well delivered."
